This was my first event with RAW Adventures and I would like to say how professional and well-organised the day was, from information prior to the event, all the way through to wrapping up the day and heading home.The team were welcoming, fun and professional. Great communication was had throughout the day by Ash, and the rest of the team, and had a thoroughly enjoyable day as part of the team and I hope to join Raw again in the future

Thank you so much for another successful event delivery. 3 peaks in 3 months is officially complete, and I couldn’t be happier with how they’ve gone.Thanks to Ash and all the guides who supported everyone on the mountain yesterday.
Ben Nevis was a great day, I didn’t walk the event so I don’t have any major moments, but I would just like to shout out to all the Mountain Leaders for their hard work and bright cheery energy on Saturday. I don’t know how they stay so happy and positive the whole time, but they bring a brilliant atmosphere to the events.
I have also received numerous messages thanking the RAW Mountain Leaders, they have been called fantastic and people have generally felt looked after and supported by them.

Great day climbing Ben Nevis - our guide, Saki, was helpful, very knowledgeable and friendly all the way through the day.She kept us informed of changing weather conditions, when to layer up and what was ahead! She ensured no one was left behind by having regular stops to regroup. Would thoroughly recommend RAW.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to RAW and especially to my guide Mark. I didn’t make it to the summit but what an amazing day. I would not have got as far as I did without the support.I was able to raise some money for Rock2Recovery, a charity that supports veterans and emergency response workers. That makes the climb even more worthwhile. Thank you to everyone at RAW.

Kayleigh was our guide and was absolutely exceptional! I felt extremely safe from the very start and well informed all the way through the hike regarding the upcoming stages and what to expect. This was great as it prepared me mentally which helped me a lot. I thought the website was excellent and could be clearly navigated with precise information which made booking the adventure easy.Great communication nearer the time via email which was comforting to know all was in hand with clear instructions on kit list, times, and location etc. Thanks to Kayleigh for guiding us up Ben Nevis and back down again safely and for making the experience fun and so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend RAW for another adventure and am also considering using them for my Hill and Moorland Leader training!

I had the most fantastic experience with RAW, climbing Ben Nevis for sunrise! From the initial enquiry, booking, communication leading up to the event and then the climb itself. Kayleigh, the leader, was absolutely brilliant! Without Kayleigh’s encouragement I would definitely not pulled through. I am thrilled I did. It was all and better I could have wished for.Didn’t know anyone else on the climb, met lovely and interesting people. Talk as much or as little as you like. The views on our descend were sensational! Highly recommend Glen Nevis campsite at the bottom, ideally placed to start the walk from near to the visitor centre.

First time up Ben Nevis, straight onto the CMD Arête so I needed an expert to trust; Joe, the RAW guide, was exactly that. He was friendly, knowledgeable and brought the trek to life through his vast knowledge and experience of the history, flora and fauna, sites, and geography of the route. At all stages I knew what to expect, was led just slightly out of my comfort zone (precisely what I’d hoped for) and completed the task with a real sense of achievement.The scenery was phenomenal, made all the better by the perfect weather conditions - cool, clear, dry and windless. Nevertheless, Joe still took the time to explain how we would deal with changing conditions, had they occurred, and I was utterly confident in his ability to safely deliver success.
RAW provided ample time and information to ensure I arrived prepared, and the photos at the end were a nice touch. Overall, very happy with the experience and worth every penny.

Kat and the RAW team provided great support in preparation for our Ben Nevis climb.We were able to complete the climb in what were difficult weather conditions. Kat was excellent in helping us all get down and safely. Highly recommend this company.
